everyday things

In this project I observe the surrounding reality through the incorrect operation of the camera of my phone.

I took my old iphone, its camera was broken. When aiming the camera at an object, a certain distortion of reality or glitch, is displayed on the screen. At the same time, I am not a generator of these visual effects, but the camera does everything on its own.

It turns out a kind of collaboration between me and my phone, which leads to the creation of a new esthetics.

Such a green glitch turns real stories into symbolic decorative spots. This is a kind of reference to the works of abstractionists, only with a technological context.

The phone captured my house, streets, some objects, selfies. And these familiar moments of everyday life, which can be found in most mobile phones, arise in new hyperexpressive shapes.
